Each region has its own tutor who, in addition to teaching, will also be a mentor to support and guide you through those often daunting early stages of your development in the field of implantology. All tutors will have had at least five years experience of implant dentistry and their practises are predominantly implant based.

Teaching is delivered at training centres with facilities appropriate to the practice of implant dentistry. The centres provide the highest quality teaching environment and standard of clinical training possible, allowing the dental practitioner to develop the treatment planning capabilities to confidently place and predictably restore implants independently.

The quality assurance of GIFT facilities is undertaken independently and they are only permitted to operate if their standards, including clinical standards, meet or exceed the quality assurance requirements of current legislation. In this way you can be assured that your patients will be treated and you will receive clinical training in the best environment possible.

GIFT appreciates that an expert does not always necessarily make a good teacher and that is why in addition to experience the regional tutors will also have received training in teaching techniques and medical education at Warwick University.

If you would like to attend a GIFT Theme Day Lecture free of charge at any of our Regional Centres please contact Lesley De Carteret, GIFT Course Manager, for further information Tel 01481 200264 Email admin@gift.org.gg

The quality assurance of Regional Training facilities is undertaken independently by the University of Warwick on an annual basis. The University sets rigorous standards for health & safety, surgical quality and teaching that meet or exceed the quality assurance requirements of current legislation. In this way you can be assured that you will receive clinical training in the best environment possible.
