Develop the skills needed for modern orthodontics and understand its scope for use in primary care dental practice

• Our modular training scheme allows GDPs to pursue a flexible training pathway over a period suited to individual requirements and circumstances
• Suitable for dentists who wish to develop their skills in Orthodontics and/or who wish to develop a special interest in orthodontics
• Our lecturing team have vast experience in all clinical treatment modalities, including self-ligation mechanics such as The Damon system, lingual appliances, and the Invisalign appliance
• Primary Care Trusts may choose to contract with dentists with a special interest in Orthodontics (DIWSE) and this course covers all of the requirements for DIWSE recognition
• Much of our teaching is carried out in our regional teaching centre in Royal Leamington Spa
• We use a wide variety of educational tools, including hands-on typodont sessions in our clinical skills laboratory
• Receive tutoring from a wide range of experts in the field of Orthodontics, together with advanced clinical training
• Receive support to think creatively and independently, to solve problems, to exercise judgment, and to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and colleagues
