Develop the skills needed for modern orthodontics and understand its scope for use in primary care dental practice
- Our modular training scheme allows GDPs to pursue a flexible training pathway over a period suited to individual requirements and circumstances
- Suitable for dentists who wish to develop their skills in Orthodontics and/or who wish to develop a special interest in orthodontics
- Our lecturing team have vast experience in all clinical treatment modalities, including self-ligation mechanics such as The Damon system, lingual appliances, and the Invisalign appliance
- Primary Care Trusts may choose to contract with dentists with a special interest in Orthodontics (DIWSE) and this course covers all of the requirements for DIWSE recognition
- Much of our teaching is carried out in our regional teaching centre in Royal Leamington Spa
- We use a wide variety of educational tools, including hands-on typodont sessions in our clinical skills laboratory
- Receive tutoring from a wide range of experts in the field of Orthodontics, together with advanced clinical training
- Receive support to think creatively and independently, to solve problems, to exercise judgment, and to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and colleagues

Alternative Study Options
- You can gain a certificate (60) CATS or a Diploma (120 CATS), or go on to complete the full MSc (180 CATS). Contact us (c dot grantham at warwick dot ac dot uk) for further information

- Study full time through the Supervised Dental Clinical Training with an Integrated MSc
