    Masters in Public Health (MPH)

    MASTERS

    Leader
    Neil Raymond

    Duration
    Full-time 1 year
    Part-time 2-8 years

    Study mode
    Part-time/Full-time

What is the benefit to me?

This is an interdisciplinary degree, drawing upon expertise across a wide range of subject areas and seeks to explore the complexity of Public Health issues in the UK and internationally.

    Entry requirements

A good relevant Honours degree plus experience working within the general area of Public Health. You may also enrol if you have professional rather than academic qualifications, with substantial experience.

Applications for full-time study are welcome from overseas students who will normally be expected to have an English language test result (IELTS 6.5 in reading and writing) or equivalent.

    MPH Student Profile

Dr. Muhammad Khalid, Public Health Expert, Pakistan (MPH with distinction, 2006/07)

The course was special as it had students from Asia, Africa, Middle East, Caribbean and the local UK students as well.

This helped in putting forward country experiences regarding issues of Public Health which potentially helped in better understanding of issues and their possible solutions.

At the end of the course I had the confidence, commitment and the necessary skills to contribute to the field of Public Health.

I am currently working in Pakistan as National Public Health Expert with German Technical Cooperation (GTZ).
