Anaesthetics Society

Welcome to the website for Warwick Medical School Anaesthetics Society

We are currently looking for people to help out with our committee - we urgently need people who are happy to organise the running of 1 workshop per year either together or as a group of friends.

We are a society aimed at introducing Medical Students to the career of Anaesthesia. We also aim to get all Medical Students involved in activities and workshops which will help them develop confidence in topics such as Airway Management and Pharmacology. Various workshops are run annually so please contact us at wmsasoc@gmail.com to get onto our mailing list!

For those more serious about a future career in Anaesthesia we are always looking for people to get involved in organising and running events - all of which looks fantastic on you CV and introduces you to many of the Consultants in Anaesthesia, so a great opportunity to set up furture networks.

As yet there is no student affiliation to the Royal College of Anaesthetists, but we have been advised that this may be coming in the near future. For the time being, do however look at the Royal Colleges main website at http://www.rcoa.ac.uk/ for National Events and opportunities.
