    Airway Management Evening 2010

    Warwick Medical School Anaesthetics Society and STEP Society Annual Joint Airway Management Evening - 2011


    We are currently looking at running another joint airway management evening with the STEP society and are looking to volunteers to help oragnise this! - Please email us at wmsasoc@gmail.com if your interested in helping out!


    We are currently organising another airway management workshop and would like to hear from you as to what you would like included this year and when you want it to be run. Last years workshop programme is included below for information. Please let us know at the usual address.

    Anaesthetics and STEP Joint Airway Management Course 2011


    Programme

    The course is being held at UHCW and will start promptly at 6pm.

    Timetable:
    Start time 6pm light snacks and lectures:
    1. Introduction to Careers in Anaesthesia and how to maximise chances of getting a job -Dr Robin Correa
    2. Revision of anatomy -Med student tbc
    3. Research and audit in anaesthetics at UHCW -projects students can help with.
    4. Airway management -Cyprian Mendonca
    Followed by four 30 min stations stations:
    1. Advanced airway techniques
    2. Bag valve masks and LMAs
    3. ET tubing with fibre-optic kit
    4. SIM man scenario
