Christian Medical Fellowship

About CMF

The Christian Medical Fellowship was founded in 1949 and has over 4,500 British doctor members in all branches of medicine, and over 1,000 student members. For those within the Christian faith, it is a place to deepen our understanding of how faith and medicine go hand in hand. Those who do not profess to be Christians are also welcome to come to meetings and discuss important issues especially bioethics.

The national CMF website can be a useful resource when thinking about ethics, global healthcare inequalities and the place of Christian faith in medicine:

Lunchtime discussion/prayer meetings

Great chance to meet together as phase I students. Held on Thursday lunchtimes 12.15pm - 1.00pm every week of the semester. It is a time to get together, eat some lunch, pray and read the Bible: an oasis of calm in the midst of all the mania. Find us in one of the seminar rooms on the ground floor or email Kenneth (k.h.k.ngai@warwick.ac.uk) and Gloryanne (G.Aidoo-Micah@warwick.ac.uk)

PHASE 2 and beyond:

For those students in phase 2 (and also open to anyone else interested) the CMF runs monthly meetings with guest speakers. Please email Mike (y.h.m.tam@warwick.ac.uk) and Niki (a.akanet@warwick.ac.uk) for more information.
