WASPS was the Wilderness, Aviation and SPace medicine Society.

WASPS was wrapped up in 2010 after a tumultuous year.

Interest was high - on Facebook. Real-life participation was less encouraging.

We still have a lot of contacts and links with wilderness medical organisations, speakers etc. and it may work out better to run ad-hoc events for the interested few at random moments throughout the next few years; we will look into this as time permits.

Thanks to those who helped make it a short-lived success, and we hope you enjoyed the events that you came to.
