    The £24M Materials and Analytical Sciences Building was completed in December 2011. It features a cutting-edge design and hosts state-of-the-art research facilities for material and analytical science research, encouraging interdisciplinary science projects.


    Undergraduate teaching labs
    Teaching labs

    State-of-the-art undergraduate labs for synthetic Chemistry (£2.5M) were officially opened by Nobel Prize laureate Prof. Robert H. Grubbs in July 2010. They were followed by new teaching labs dedicated to physical, computational and biological Chemistry (£1.5M)
    which opened in October 2012.
