Scholarship - Rewarding Achievement and facilitating careers
Direct Student Support
Students come to Warwick from many backgrounds. Our mission is to provide the same high quality learning environment for all.
In order to do this, we need to be able to provide equipment, text books and study aids, provide scholarships to allow fees to be paid, and to provide bursaries for students for whom living or travel expenses or both are proving prohibitive.
You can provide funds to support students directly by contributing to our scholarship fund.
Prizes
Prizes can be named awards, where you provide the full costs of the award and/or related expertise or you can contribute to our overall prize fund. To give to Prizes specifically please specify 'Chemistry Prizes' on this form.
To fully fund a specific full costed award, please contact f.j.friel@warwick.ac.uk or call us on +44 2476 150221
One Off Donations
You can make a one-off donation to support a particular need, or a regular one that can be anything from a few pounds to enough to support a student through their course. Several students have benefitted from scholarships given by through the Department who would not have been able to experience Warwick's exceptional learning environment otherwise.
For general scholarship donations, please specify 'Chemistry Scholarship Accumulation Fund' on this form.
More specific donations can also be made eg to support a personal cause - please specify these clearly on the form or contact f.j.friel@warwick.ac.uk or call us on +44 2476 150221 to discuss how these can be made.
Regular Donations
You can also give donations on a regular basis to allow continued support. Regular donors are invited to our regular consulting meetings where the distribution of scholarship awards are discussed. Please choose the regular giving option and please specify 'Chemistry Scholarship Accumulation Fund'
Direct Scholarships
Ambitious and well-resourced donations can also be made that cover the entire cost of study for a student, or fees only. Fees for Home/EU undergraduates are £3,500 per year, for Taught Masters, circa £5,500 in total, and for PhD students circa £4,000. For overseas students, fees are up to £10,000 more per annum.
If you can make a full scholarship award, please talk to our Major Gifts team, part of Development and Alumni Relations.
Full Scholarships may also be paid from our Chemistry Scholarship Accumulation Fund - to donate here please specify 'Chemistry Scholarship Accumulation Fund' on your donation form.
