The Faraday Joint Interest Group Conference 2017 is a joint meeting of the RSC Faraday interest groups listed below and will showcase UK and International Physical Chemistry.

  • Astrophysical Chemistry Group
  • Neutron Scattering Group
  • Biophysical Chemistry Group
  • Spectroscopy & Dynamics Group
  • Theoretical Chemistry Group
  • British Carbon Group
  • Photochemistry Group
  • Statistical Mechanics & Thermodynamics Group

This meeting is composed of plenary lectures and RSC prize winner talks, 7 parallel sessions of invited and contributed lectures, posters on display for the entire duration of the meeting and in two designated poster sessions, drinks reception and Conference Banquet on separate evenings.

There is scope for around 60-70 contributed talks selected from abstracts, and a Poster Competition will also take place at Faraday 2017, where bursaries of £750, £500, and £250 will be awarded for first, second and third prize. These bursaries will be used toward attendance of an international conference.
