Claudia Houben
Biography
Claudia was born in Heinsberg (Germany). She began her career at the RWTH Aachen University in 2006. In 2009 she finished her Bachelor Thesis by Prof. Martin Möller with the topic 'Influence of salt concentration and temperature on the formation of microgels'. During the Master studies she concentrates on the subjects catalysis (CAT) and materials and mesoscopic systems: solid-state compounds, polymers, and nanostructures (MES). The master thesis was done in the group of Prof. Marcel Liauw determing diffusion coefficients in highly viscous polymers with ATR spectroscopy.
In 2011, she starts her international Ph.D., under the supervision of Prof. Marcel Liauw, Prof. Alexei Lapkin and Prof. David Haddleton. Since Febuary 2012 she works on the COOPOL project at the University of Warwick.
Research interest
