    Undergraduate Labs

Warwick Chemistry has invested £2.5 Million in NEW Undergraduate Labs. The labs were officially opened by Nobel Laureate in Chemistry prof. Robert Grubbs in July 2010.

The labs are equipped with the top of the range Secuflow fumehoods and furniture by Waldner to give you the best experience and create the safest and energy conscious working environment possible.

We have also spent about £200k in new equipment to give you the best education in experimental chemistry. Typically you will undertake 27 full day experiments per academic year across a great variety of chemistry topics, using the latest equipment and sometimes in close collaboration with Industry.

Sir Alan Langlands, the CEO of HEFCE said (Times Higher Education, 18 March 2010, Page 28):

I recently visited the University of Warwick and saw its superb new teaching facilities in arts, humanities, and chemistry, and a research platform in solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance that is unrivalled worldwide.
