Welcome to the Centre for Scientific Computing

[c]

The Centre for Scientific Computing raises the research profile of the University of Warwick by creating and nurturing internationally competitive research groups which employ state-of-the-art high performance computing tools to achieve their research goals.

This is achieved by our objectives:

  • To maintain and enhance an inter-disciplinary research environment which develops and shares computational expertise for the resolution of significant research goals.

  • To support a training environment which enables research groups to engage with the computing facilities available, through appropriate training for PhD students, PDRAs and permanent staff.

  • To manage a strategy for making a range of high performance computing environments available at Warwick so that research groups are well-placed to use larger national and international facilities.
