- To maintain an interdisciplinary research community around sharing of expertise in scientific computing.

- To promote a culture of knowledgeable, efficient and effective usage of equipment available at Warwick via the Scientific Computing Research Technology Platform.
Tinis is a new cluster delivered and installed in summer 2015 and entered production use in November 2015. Tinis provides a central HPC facility for Scientific Computing/RTP users in Warwick departments. The system is based on Lenovo NeXtScale nx360 M5 servers with approx. 3500 Intel Haswell cores. Tinis includes a small number of NVIDIA GPU, Xeon Phi and 1 TB memory fat nodes.
