  The news pages list CSC and university-wide news, events and conferences of direct interest to CSC staff. Please use this to post announcements.^*

• CSC Seminar Series

  We organize regular seminar series on topics of interdisciplinary interested and/or computational methods:

  • CSC@Lunch

    These are informal talks, given by CSC and associate members. The CSC@Lunch seminars take place every Monday (barring bank holidays) in term from 1-2pm, in PS017a in the Physical Sciences building. Coffee is provided, and you are welcome to bring your lunch.

  • CSC Colloquia

    These are departmental talks that are judged to be of interest to members of the CSC. They are scheduled jointly with the departments.

• CSC forums

  CSC runs a variety of active forums on questions of scientific interest to its members. Please go to the CSC forums page for further details.

• CSC mailing lists

  The csc-members mailing list is used to keep CSC members and those associated with the running of CSC informed of developments. The content of the mailing list is also duplicated in the CSC forum http://forums.warwick.ac.uk/departments/csc/members/.

  To stay informed about CSC events, subscribe to the csc-events mailing list. This list is also available at http://forums.warwick.ac.uk/departments/csc/events/.

  The csc-linux-user mailing list is available to all users of CSC's managed desktop. The list is used mainly for administration purposes, such as announcements, notification of system downtime or system changes or upgrades which affect users.

  The csc-cluster-user mailing list is available to all users of CSC's HPC clusters. The list is used mainly for administration purposes, such as announcements, notification of system downtime or system changes or upgrades which affect users.

  The csc-computing-user-forum forum should be used for more general discussion among users about CSC's computing operation, enhancements, tips and tricks.

• CSC jobs

  Available jobs are announced first on our news pages under the "Positions available" category.

^* In order to make sure that listings in the news pages get distributed to CSC staff, please use the "send email to" facility upon submission.
