5th International Workshop on Biometrics and Forensics

The 5th International Workshop on Biometrics and Forensics was held at The University of Warwick, UK, from 4-5 April 2017.

IWBF is an international forum devoted specifically to facilitate synergies in
research and development in the areas of multimedia forensics, forensic
biometrics and forensic science. IWBF provides the meeting place for those
concerned with the usage of multimedia analysis in forensic applications and biometric
recognition systems, attracting participants from industry, research, academia
and end-users.

The call for submission of papers has now closed.

IWBF 2017 News

Best paper award - IWBF 2017

The IAPR best paper award went to Ctirad Sousedik and Ralph Breithaupt for their paper 'Full-fingerprint Volumetric Subsurface Imaging using Fourier-Domain Optical Coherence Tomography', as voted for by the participants of IWBF 2017.

Workshop a great success

IWBF 2017 has now finished and was enjoyed by all those who participated.

Second keynote speaker announced

Mauro Barni from University of Siena, Italy, has been announced as the second keynote speaker at IWBF 2017.

First keynote speaker announced

Arun Ross from Michigan State University, US, has been announced as the first keynote speaker at IWBF 2017.
