History of Computing
Our aim is to embed the history of computing within the established genres of economic and social history, and the histories of technology, science, and mathematics.
Our research is broadly based, taking in topics ranging from the development of information technology policy to the origins of artificial intelligence, and covering a time period extending from the 18th century up to the 1990s.
