Warwick Postgraduate Colloquium in Computer Science 2017

WPCCS17

The WPCCS 2017 event is now over. Thank you to all those who attended! WPCCS 2017 was reported on the DCS news ticker. The Conference Guide is available here.

The Warwick Postgraduate Colloquium in Computer Science is an annual event held in the Department of Computer Science which brings together postgraduate researchers from Computer Science, the Centre for Scientific Computing and the CDT in Urban Science and Progress to present recent and on-going research. The event is free for all participants. Staff are encouraged to attend as much of the event as possible, in order to provide valuable feedback. For the first time ever, the event will be held in The Oculus.

Submission Information

Attendees may choose between submitting an A0 poster or a presentation (10 minutes plus 5 minutes Question and Answer). Poster submissions must include a PDF of the poster. Presentation submissions do not need to include the slides of the presentation. MSc students by Research and first year PhD students are required to submit a presentation.

All submissions are expected to contain new content. It is acceptable to modify an existing poster or presentation for the submission, such that it contains new and up-to-date information on your chosen topic.

A limited number of poster presentations are available, so if there are more than the maximum number of poster submissions, then some people may be asked to resubmit a presentation instead. Please only create a poster if you have a valid reason to, as we have already received a high number of poster submissions.

Submissions can be made here. Once all submissions have been received and responses sent out to all authors, the presentations and posters will be allocated between the tracks and the schedule made available. If you wish to do a poster, you must include the poster PDF file in your submission by the deadline of 2nd June 2017.

Prizes will be awarded. A free lunch will be available on the day (provided you request it in your submissions).
