Accreditation
Please note that the BEng Engineering degree is accredited by the IET, IMechE and InstMC where students meet the conditions set out below. Accreditation at BEng level recognises that only part of the academic requirements for CEng status will be met and therefore graduates will be required to undertake further learning. Advice on what constitutes further learning is available from each institution. Some institutions impose a II-2 classification as the minimum for accreditation and all require that the candidate passes a project such as ES3B1 or ES327.
