The ESO

Engineering Student Office

The day-to-day management of the undergraduate programmes is undertaken by the School’s Undergraduate Office. The office is the responsibility of the Director of Studies who reports directly to the Deputy Head Teaching.

The ESO is located in a suite of offices located on the fourth floor of F-Block (F404 - F408).

The ESO is responsible for posting information on this web site and most undergraduate paperwork. If you require help or guidance with the practicalities of your studies, our aim is to provide it or refer you to somebody who can.

For routine enquiries please visit the office F407 during the following times:

ESO Office Hours

Monday, Tuesday,

Thursday and Friday

and

If you require urgent assistance, you are welcome to contact the office staff outside of these times.

For non-urgent, individual advice, an appointment can be made through the office by calling personally, telephoning (02476 150916/02476 522487) or e-mail. The secretaries have access to all the ESO staff diaries and will fix a time that is convenient to all parties. Please try to restrict telephone calls to within the office hours above. E-mails can, of course, be sent at any time.

A range of standard and 'timely' forms, including spare coursework submission sheets, are available from the wall mounted display next to the office.
