What is WMR?
Warwick Mobile Robotics is a collection of projects under development at the University of Warwick in the field of mobile robotics. Our projects currently range from rescue robots to autonomous, flying robots. For a full list of our current projects, you can visit our projects overview page.
Our Projects
We currently have several projects running at Warwick Mobile Robotics:
- Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) for teleoperated and autonomous rescue operations in unstable or unsafe environments.
- UAV sponsored by Sellafield Ltd for unmanned areal inspection of the insides of buildings.
- Autonomous Mower; A ride-on greens mower that has been modified to be controlled by a computer and fitted with low-cost GPS.
