This degree is accredited as meeting the requirements for Further Learning for a Chartered Engineer (CEng) for candidates who have already acquired a Accredited CEng (Partial) BEng(Hons) or an Accredited IEng (Full) BEng/BSc (Hons) undergraduate first degree.

This Warwick Engineering MSc programme is a specialist course suitable as preparation for a career in industry.
The aims of the Tunnelling & Underground Space degree are: Integrate and apply knowledge and skills to the solution of complex civil engineering and tunnelling problems at postgraduate level; to apply understanding to novel and challenging situations, and be aware of the limitations of the solution.
The course is made up of 6 core modules, 2 optional modules, and a project. The project is a piece of group design giving excellent preparation for industry.
The British Tunnelling Society offer scholarships to individuals holding a civil engineering or mining based degree and are resident in the UK. For the 2012-2013 academic year they will offer 3 scholarships @£12k. The following companies are also offering financial support:
