Technical Release: TR49 - Wooden Single Donkey Harness for Cart Pulling (2002)

Covers a simple but effective saddle design for donkeys pulling carts, though it can be used for other purposes. Saddles are necessary in a cart harness because vertical loads must be applied by the animal to stabilise the cart. The saddle shown here was developed from the steel framed design in TR27h1ds.
