RESEARCH PROFILEResearch activities Peter has more than 20 years of research experience in the application of systems modelling and control techniques to automotive systems. All of this work has been carried out in collaboration with automotive companies and much has involved funding from EPSRC and industry sources. His research interests embrace automotive chassis systems, powertrain systems and electronic systems and, currently, he is supervising a team of 6 doctoral research students working in these areas. Peter is also a member of the International Automotive Research Centre at the University of Warwick, where he provides academic leadership for a team of 7 research staff who are working on applications of systems engineering techniques to the integration of complex electrical, electronic and software systems in premium automobiles. |
