'Towards Next Generation Synthetic Biology'

Warwick Centre for Integrative Synthetic Biology

Scarman House, University of Warwick, Coventry, UK

Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd November 2013

Synthetic biology (SB) is seen as a transformative hybrid research field that promises to generate a broad repertoire of biological technologies. However, SB will not be able to deliver on this promise unless it can produce predictable, robust and scalable synthetic systems.

This workshop brings together US and UK researchers along with industrialists to discuss the further development of synthetic biology towards developing the next generation of engineering tools and thereby empowering it to achieve generically predictable, robust and scalable engineering solutions in biotechnology and biomedicine.

We look forward to welcoming you.
