    The Vacuole Song

Lorenzo Frigerio, a plant cell biologist at Warwick Life Sciences who studies plant protein storage vacuoles, has written a song about vacuoles with his PhD student Charlotte Carroll and colleagues from Oxford Brookes University. The video is for use in secondary schools.

The song and accompanying video aim to help students to understand these intracellular compartments in plants and how they function. The song is already proving popular with schools and more songs about other cellular organelles are currently in development for use in the classroom.

The next video will be based on Mitochondria. Watch this space...
