RESEARCH PROFILEDuring my Ph.D I focused on studying the energetic and structural aspects of protein phosphorylation. I investigated the effect of resulting charge-charge interactions of phosphorylation to protein structure and to protein-protein cooperativity, using continuum electrostatics and bioinformatics methods. I moved from structural biology to paleogenomics after joining the Allaby Research Group. |
BACKGROUND- Ph.D Structural Bioinformatics, The University of Manchester. - B.Sc (Hons) Biological and Computational Science, The University Of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST). |
