Extreme Pond Dipping with an Electron Microscope

    Pond Dipping

This started as a light hearted comment about a school visit, stuck for ideas someone suggested "You could always take them pond dipping". The stalwart summer nature project - Jam jars, wellies and fishing nets.

Thinking about it I realised it was actually a good idea, there's life in a pond that's completely missed by the magnifying glass. I was shocked as to just how much and how varied it was.
