    Gene Expression

    network

The development and growth of organisms is determined by gene expression. Using genetic, biochemical, biophysical and systems biology approaches, researchers are investigating the mechanisms gene expression control and regulation in yeast, viruses and plants.

Professor John McCarthy Post-transcriptional control mechanisms in yeast
Dr Emma Anderson Viral translation mechanisms
    Professor Jim Beynon Host-pathogen interactions
Dr Vicky Buchanan-Wollaston Signalling networks in plant senescence
Dr Jose Gutierrez-Marcos Epigenetic control of plant gene expression and development
Dr Keith Leppard Adenovirus cell and molecular biology
