Fees and Funding for Taught Masters

* Standard University fees minus the bursary. Bursaries are available only to students on some, but not all, full-time taught Masters courses (£1,500 to UK and EU students; £1,300 to international [non-EU] students).
Fees and Funding Scholarships:
There is a wide range of funding available for EU and overseas postgraduate students:
- BBSRC Masters Scholarships - a number of scholarships, covering full tuition fees and payment of a stipend are available to UK nationals/residents studying MSc Sustainable Crop Production: Agronomy for the 21st Century.
- Life Sciences Scholarships - available for several of our taught MSc courses (you must be in receipt of an offer to study at the University of Warwick).
- Commonwealth Shared Scholarship - Warwick University has been awarded five scholarships under this scheme of which one is specifically for the MSc Biotechnology, Bioprocessing and Business Management.
- International Office Scholarship - the International Office, Warwick University has three awards of up to £17,000 open to competition to all Masters students
- African Graduate ANFCT Scholarships - the International Office, Warwick University and the Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust (ANFCT) will be awarding up to 5 scholarships of £10,000 each to students from Sub-Saharan Africa
- Santander Scholarships - there will be a number of awards worth £5000 from Santander for Masters students
- Li Xiaoming Scholarship - an award of £20,000 to a taught Masters Chinese student
- NFU Mutual Charitable Trust Centenary Award - pays 75% of course fees and is open to students from the UK who have gained, or are expected to gain, a 2:1 or above in agriculture or a closely related degree, and have been accepted on a Masters or PhD course in agriculture in the UK. The closing date for the NFU Mutual Centenary Award 2012 is 30th April 2012.
- Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan (CSFP) - an international programme under which member governments offer scholarships and fellowships to citizens of other Commonwealth countries. Countries offering awards.

Some national governments, for example MARA in Malysia, sponser students and you should also try local and national philanthropic organisations. You are advised to try as many different organisations as possible to try and secure funding as the process is very competitive. Have a back-up plan in case you are not successful.
Career Development Loans - loans available to UK postgraduates through an arrangement between the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) and three high street banks.
