The next Life Sciences Postgraduate Open Day will be held on Wednesday 24 March 2010. The open day will illustrate the remarkable range of PhD projects and Masters courses on offer in Life Sciences areas within the University of Warwick. Applicants for the Life Sciences PhD will be interviewed by a small selection panel. Please register to attend an open day Special emphasis will be on the following Departments:
The open day will involve lunch from 12:00 - 13:00, introductory talks from 13:00 - 14:00, tours and interviews. Formal interviews are mandatory for applicants to the BBSRC Life Sciences DTG; other visitors may meet potential supervisors informally. Please let us know if you wish to meet specific members of staff. Biological Sciences is one of the top few Biology departments in the UK with world-class research facilities and a formidable reputation for innovative science. It houses groups engaged in a vast range of research areas including cell biology, microbiology, virology, structural biology, ecology and epidemiology, developmental genetics and neurobiology.
