Welcome to the Maths Alumni site

I’ve been at Warwick for more than forty years. Some of you may remember my lectures, or you may have read some of my books about mathematics, heard me on the radio, or seen me on TV.

I've now joined the ranks of the retired staff, as Emeritus Professor, but I will continue to have strong links with the University. In fact, I've just been made a Digital Media Fellow, which means that I will be working with the University to develop new ways to promote the public awareness of mathematics and science — such as podcasts and webcasts. And I will be able to carry on with my research, as well.

As part of my new role, I will be developing this website and adding to it.

My welcome message about the Maths Alumni community will remain available for the moment.
