I am a third year PhD student under the supervision of Brian Bowditch. I am interested in low-dimensional topology and geometric group theory.

I think mainly about surfaces and problems relevant to mapping class groups. In particular, I have been looking at graphs such as the curve graph where each vertex represents a curve or collection of curves in a surface. These have been useful for studying the large scale geometry of mapping class groups.

Picture this maths, a blog by Rachael Boyd and Anna Seigal. I wrote a guest post on Mapping class groups and curves in surfaces.
