    SIAM Student Chapter

The Warwick student chapter of SIAM (Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics) was founded in January 2012 with the intention of providing forum in which students and academics interested in applied mathematics, computational science and it's applications in industry can exchange. The chapter aims to organise seminars, workshops and events for students presented both by academics in applied mathematics as well as people working in industry. It also provides an opportunity for students and researches from various disciplines sharing a common interest in applied and computational mathematics to meet informally. Our chapter also provides a link with the international SIAM community allowing members to benefit from the various opportunities offered by SIAM.

Students and postdocs of any department who are interested in Industrial Mathematics and its Applications are encouraged to join the chapter. Membership is free and members will be eligible for free membership to SIAM.
