General Information

This workshop is a one day event in Harmonic Analysis/PDE's funded in part by the LMS Scheme 3 Grant "The UK Harmonic Analysis and PDE's Research Network" and will take place at Warwick University.

10:00 - 11:00 - James Robinson - A characterisation of local existence for semilinear heat equations in Lebesgue spaces

11:00 - 11:30 - Coffee Break

11:30 - 12:30 - Maria Carmen Reguera - Lower bounds for fractional Riesz transforms on general Cantor Sets

12:30 - 2:30 - Lunch

2:30 - 3:30 - Pieter Blue - Decay for fields outside black holes

3:30 - 4:00 - Tea Break

4:00 - 5:00 - Luis Vega - The Talbot effect in a non-linear dynamics

5:00 - 6:00 - Drinks and Snacks in the Mathematics Institute Common Room

There will be a dinner with the speakers on Monday evening. Unfortunately we will be unable to subsidize the cost for participants. Please contact Jose Rodrigo if you would like to join the dinner.

Getting to Warwick

Details about how to get to Warwick an be found here . From Kenilworth, there are regular buses to the university.

Accommodation

Participants are invited to arrange their own accommodation. The most convenient location is Kenilworth. Here is some information about local hotels and B&Bs.
