Francesca Basini

Ciao !
I'm a PhD student at Mathematics for Real-World Systems Centre for Doctoral Training (MathSys II).
I am working under the supervision of Dr. Ritabrata DuttaLink opens in a new window and Prof. Marie-Therese WolframLink opens in a new window.

I am interested in the development of mathematical and statistical methods for modelling stem cell differentiation based on information coming from the Gene Regulatory Network and intracellular communication.

Research Interests: Likelihood-free Inference, Approximate Bayesian Computation, Bayesian Statistics, MCMC, Dynamical Systems, Network Modelling, Neural Networks, Applications in Biology and Social Sciences.

For more information see Curriculum page.
See TeachingLink opens in a new window page for an overview and material.
