This MSc combines top quality English Language teaching from the Centre for Applied Linguistics, with advanced scientific teaching and research from the highly rated Faculty of Science at the University of Warwick.
There is a large range of modules on offer (>50) and subject to timetabling constraints the choice, depending on your scientific skills and interests, is entirely up to you.
This MSc aims to give you:
The English Language Skills necessary to communicate science, and the ability to effectively apply these skills; research experience (using state-of-the-art equipment) through the completion of a research-based project based in one of Warwick's first class research groups; an excellent learning environment in which to acquire the skills required to be a successful university level research scientist; advanced knowledge in an area of scientific research, and the ability to write coherently about this research; the skills required for a career in research, scientific writing, science education or science communication, with a particular emphasis on preparing for a career in science.

Warwick use the Credit Accumulation and Transfer Scheme (CATS) to express credit for each module of learning the student undertakes. The Scientific Research and Communicaton MSc consists of 180 CATS in total.
