Results from a study undertaken by MOAC and chemistry PhD student Angela Martino and her supervisor Alison Rodger were published this week on 4CMenB (a new meningococcal B vaccine). The results adds to the weight of evidence which it is hoped will bring about licensure and introduction of this vaccine into the UK schedule. The work was supported by Meningitis Research Foundation and undertaken in collaboration with scientists at the National Institute for Biological Standards and Control at Potter’s Bar and Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics.
