    Jing Kang ("Jasmine")

I am currently a postgraduate student in MOAC, researching on neural discrimination and control in neuroscience. I have finished my PhD thesis and the abstract of my work can be found here.

    PhD

My research topic is related to neuron discrimination ability of input temporal frequency both mathematically (constructing neuron modelling, such like integrate-and-fire model and Hodgkin-Huxley model) and experimentally (with dynamic clamp technique carried out at Cambridge University). Now we have finished this paper and it is under revision in journal PloS One. Click here for the abstract of this paper.

I am also interested in the link between psychophysical behaviour and the neuronal level behaviour, and we are studying on the relation between them using mathematical models and theoretical derivations. We have this paper and it is under in the European Journal of Neuroscience. Click here for the abstract of this paper.
