    Kinwarton Dovecote, National Trust

    Kinwarton Dovecote is on the edge of the Roman Town of Alcester, about 100m down the footpath beyond Kinwarton Church (OS Grid Reference SP106585, see map by Streetmap.co.uk). As its on a public footpath, you shouldn't have any trouble looking at the outside of the building - if it is locked then (as per the directions on the gate) you should ask at Glebe Farm for the key.

    The square timber frame and red brick dovecote (above) is at a completely separate location, which we happened to drive past the same day. Sadly I can't actually remember exactly where this was...

    Coughton Court is also nearby.
