University of Warwick, 6th-8th of April 2016

This meeting is the second in the series of Spring Meetings of this COST Action and builds on the successful activities and collaborative links built over the past 2 years of the Action. The meeting at the University of Warwick will address the recent global trends in the field of Transition Metal Oxides, covering a wide range of topics including fabrication methods, sophisticated analytical techniques and the fundamental understanding of these materials in various forms (thin films, bulk, nanostructures). The scope of the meeting will also extend to the widespread use of oxides in applications and in industry.

The meeting is aimed at enabling the formation of networks of scientists working in complementary aspects of transition metal oxides, thereby promoting collaborative links and attracting new members with common interests to join the Action.

A complete list of topics that are open for discussion in this meeting can be found here.

Besides the Plenary and Invited talks, the Spring Meeting programme will feature several contributed oral presentations and the opportunity for Poster presentations.

The highlight of the social programme is an evening visit for the Conference Dinner to the famous, neighbouring Warwick Castle.

All participants, including Invited and Plenary speakers are expected to register for the meeting: Registration and Abstract Submission

Participants who have joined the Action may apply for financial support to attend the conference. The TO-BE COST Action will be able to offer support for travel and subsistence for a limited numbers of participants. Requests for support should be made before the deadline.
