Dr Paolo Franchini
I completed my PhD at Ferrara University (Italy) working on the BaBar experiment. I studied a charmless three body decay of the B charged meson and I worked on the muon detector (hardware, software and simulation).
Next I took part in the LHCb collaboration and I have been also involved in the SuperB collaboration. My activity was devoted on the computing GRID-based infrastructure, working at INFN-CNAF data center.
Nowadays I am a Research Assistant on the MICE experiment (International Muon Ionization Cooling Experiment) under the supervision of Dr. Steve Boyd.
If you do not often see me around it is because I am based at RAL (Rutherford Appleton Laboratory) where MICE is taking data.
