One of our PhD students, Melissa Colloff, will be competing in the national Three Minute Thesis (3MT)® final next week. Melissa won Warwick’s internal 3MT® competition on 8 June 2016 with her exceptionally engaging three-minute talk, ‘Blame it on the Beard’. Her video was submitted for the national online semi-final, and was one of six shortlisted for the live national 3MT® final taking place next Monday, 12 September, in Manchester as part of the Vitae International Researcher Development Conference. Her ‘Blame it on the Beard’ video can be viewed via the Student Careers & Skills YouTube channel.
