Research Interests: My work focuses on the neglected area of Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) in childhood and adolescence. Using data from the Avon Longitudinal Study of Parents and Children (ALSPAC), I will be investigating the precursors of BPD, including factors such as bullying and peer relationships and parent/ child relationships. This research will provide a much needed prospective approach to the study of the etiological factors involved along the pathway towards BPD.
