I am in my second year of writing a PhD in Psychology. My thesis will examine the role of memory limitations when processing economic items.
My background
I completed my BSc(Hons) in Psychology at Warwick. During my undergraduate work I examined the influence of context in multi-modal processing (auditory/visual temporal interference), social dynamics (attribution leading to stereotype threat) and skew influences in reward distributions.
Prior to my undergraduate studies my work was within software companies. Specifically, I was responsible for large teams looking at networking and hardware faults. I worked within the quality assurance departments for companies such as SEGA, SCI, Eidos and Microsoft. Due to this experience, the interaction between academia and forthcoming technologies (such as html 5, mass data aggregation and java) continues to interest me.
