Outline of work: I currently work as a Research Fellow in the Department of Psychology (at Warwick) on the EPSRC- and TSB-funded project, TEASE (Trust Enabling Augmented-Reality Support for Information-Environments). This project researches the delivery of information-provenance, trustworthiness and integrity support for use in information mash-ups through the design of augmented-reality overlays. These overlays will be optimised for human cognition, in order to boost usability and particularly, to build trust. For further details on the project please refer to the TEASE website. In addition to my role at Warwick where I work with Professor Koen Lamberts, I hold a Research Assistant post (also, related to TEASE) at the University of Oxford in the Department of Computer Science, working with Professor Sadie Creese and Professor Michael Goldsmith. Research Interests: My research interest spans a variety of fields including, Information security/provenance/quality, Trust, Risk Management, E-Business and E-Commerce services, Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA) and Web services' use in business, Web application/systems design and development, Human aspects in Security (HCISec, HCI-S), Security Usability, Cognitive Science (particularly in terms of risk, risk perception and decision-making) and Augmented Reality. Most recently, I have also started to work in the e-Learning domain, particularly as it relates to SOA. |
