Networking at the Shard

Our Behavioural Economics Student Team - the student branch of the Behavioural Sciences GRP - hosted its second annual International Behavioural Science Networking Event on 23rd February 2016. The event was held at the Warwick Business School hub in The Shard, London and offered students an unparalleled opportunity to network with the most innovative organisations utilising behavioural science and find out how research is put into practice.

Behavioural Science students networked with the likes of Ogilvy Change, the Bank of England and the Nudge Unit which provided evidence of the wide range of career paths emerging for behavioural science graduates.

Natalie Horne, Strategy Director at behaviour change consultancy Prime Decision, said: “This is the second year we’ve attended the Behavioural Science Networking Event and we’ve received several strong applications as a direct result. “It’s a pleasure to meet high calibre students with a proven interest and expertise in behavioural insight. A compelling side benefit is the chance to connect with other exhibitors – our peers in this specialist, evolving space.”

Marius Dietsch, an MSc Behavioural and Economic Science student, said: “We are really lucky to have these networking opportunities offered to us by the University of Warwick, and I thank the students on the organising committee for making the event possible.”
