This Summer School which is funded jointly by the EPSRC and the Institute of Andvanced Study (IAS) at the University of Warwick is for doctoral research students and young researchers and aims to provide knowledge and practical experience of mathematically describing problems encountered in Biomedical Engineering.

The topic this year is model validation which will cover the whole spectrum from experimental design through identifiability analysis and parameter estimation to physical experiment and result interpretation.

Students and scientists in training are welcomed from academia, industry or healthcare services and may be of life science (including medicine) or physical science background.  The Sunday to Friday Summer School is a residential course led by experts in biomedical  modelling and takes places at the University of Warwick main Campus.
