Mathematics Tutorials

In order to achieve maximum benefit from the Summer School a selection of mathematical problems is given here, which participants are encouraged to complete prior to attending.  Solutions are given.

For students wishing to use reference and tutorial material the book "Mathematics for Engineers" by Anthony Croft and Robert Davison (ISBN 0-13-120193-X) is recommended. As an on-line resourse the website www.mathscentre.ac.uk is recommended.
