Exact and computationally efficient likelihood--based estimation for discretely observed diffusion processes

 

The talk will present a collection of techniques for likelihood-based inference for discretely observed diffusions. All are Monte Carlo methods, which build on recent advances on exact simulation of diffusions. Methods for maximum likelihood and Bayesian estimation will be described.
