This workshop will consist of a series of presentations and discussions on modelling and inference within the area of statistical ecology, with a particular emphasis on continuous-time and continuous-space stochastic  processes. Applications will include, for example, spatio-temporal movements of wildlife species in heterogeneous habitat, the development of home-range models and their  contribution to the estimation of population dynamics.

The aim is to provide an opportunity for researchers working in the fields of statistics and ecology to present and compare alternative approaches that are currently being used and to stimulate new national and international collaborations.
